Team of the Week - THE FLYING ASS MONKEYS
The Flying Ass Monkeys are a socialist squad with no clear leader and all need to pull their weight to win. Team History - Around from the beginning at TinManTap on Halsted. Some credit the team with starting the league, but the squad says it came in a vision. Team Name comes from the proximity of the original bar and it's team mates to OZ Park. They are currently comprised of;
John Boekeloo - Nicknamed the Florida Assassin in past lives, the nickname may or may not apply to his dartgame. All we know is he left darts for Florida for a few years, is now back, and doesn't seem to have any work history while there. He is also the tallest member in our squads history.
Molly O'Keefe - Shoots better when her husband isn't watching, maybe he shouldn't come to darts! Longtime stalwart still in attendance despite having a child at home (http://bestofpatrick.blogspot.com/). Known for daggering a bull or triple that makes the opponents look at each other and cry.
Mike O'Keefe - You know me.
Past Members/Subs include; Maria Boekeloo - John's wife, a regular attendee in the beginning, now coping with John's steroid dependancy and the side effects therein; Chris McConnell - Ian with the fake English Accent, feared by some, annoyed by others, word has it he practices alone on Wednesdays and will be bringing his own team next year.
